CFA June 2008 Ministry Report
Care For All International  2008-07-01
Bulgarian Theological College: During the summer months the school building is unusually quiet. Our students are out on the field, in their local churches and among the unbelievers, practicing what they have learned in the College. The team at the College, though, was busy all throughout the month of June – doing paper work, preparing advertising materials to be sent out to pastors and churches, traveling to towns and villages to recruit students, and visiting youth gatherings and motivating young people to commit themselves to study theology and to be ministers. One very important event in June was that one of our students – Ivelina Mircheva, was presented her bachelor thesis at a public defense at BETI in Sofia, and received her bachelor degree diploma.

Computer Courses Ministry: The month of June was a very intense one for our computer courses ministry. The current group of students had to be taught two lessons in one gathering due to the beginning of the summer break. They had to finish faster than usual and take their exams, but the motivation of everyone was admirable and most of the students did really well on the midterm and the final exam. By the end of June, the course was over and our participants received their certificates. We are happy and thankful for the opportunity to serve to these young people not only with computer knowledge, but also by showing them our faith in Christ and telling them about the path of righteousness.

Wholesome Life Ministry: The month of June was more challenging for our team than usual, since the new coordinators and their helpers had to meet a new group of elderly people who will be receiving care and a warm meal at our facilities for the next 6 months. On June 5 was organized a first meeting where everyone was able to share a bit about their life. So many sad stories were told, so many hurting people were there in the room… Later on in June the elderly people were invited to participate in a discussion on the topic of friendship. Through the stories that were shared it was obvious that these elderly people have been betrayed and laid to so many times during their lives that they would not trust people any more. Thank God, we were able to tell them that God never betrays us and only He knows what real friendship is and has shown it to us, humans, through the sacrifice of His only son.

Create-a-Smile Ministry: The warm early summer days came along and we started organizing different fun activities for children from the Stara Zagora orphanages. First, we took a group of Children from the Нezabravka Home to the park for a soccer game and refreshments. Then we loaded a group of children in our new "smiling van" and took them to our office building (the Theological College building) where we organized for them different board games, painting competitions, etc.). A very special event was organized in the middle of the month – a big group of children from various orphanages were brought to the city center – to the local movie theater to watch a nice children's movie. All these initiatives brought joy to these precious children who live like prisoners in the orphanages. Of course, we continued with our efforts to provide medical care for children – on June 27 we brought our friend Itco to the doctor in Sofia for a checkup. The doctor promised that next month they will perform the last surgery that Itco needs. Please, pray for him as this operation will be a complex one and will last 12 hours.

Church Care: June was a month for a new initiative for the team of this ministry. We decided to start having weekly pastors' prayer meetings at the College. We picked the day to be Friday, and invited all pastors from Stara Zagora. Many came ready to worship God and to pray together for the spiritual revival in our region. We are happy to see that the pastors are so fired up for God and seek His face so that He can lead them in their ministry to the believers. What better way to get strengthened in the Lord and the service for Him than through fervent prayer in unity among the brothers.

Church Planting Ministry: Lately God has been very good to us and has brought in our team two ministers with evangelists hearts – Sasho Vassilev and Asen Mitkov. Both of them, together with other volunteers, travel several times a week to different towns and villages to encourage the small new church plants. Sasho Vassilev has been very effective in his evangelistic ministry for several years now all throughout the Sliven region. Pastor Asen, on the other hand, travels to village church plants in the Stara Zagora vacinities – Maglizh, Pamukchii, Radnevo, etc. He is very motivated and nothing can stop him from his God given task. Unfortunately, on one of his trips his car was hit badly by another driver and now he needs financial assistance for the repairs so he can continue his ministry – let's pray for this need and believe that God will help through faithful givers.

Internationally: I (Dinko Zlatarov) had the privilege to participate at the camp meeting of the Midlands region of the Church of God. The 3 day conference was held in Omaha. Brother David Gosnell did a great job at organizing the event and inviting fired for God preachers who stirred our hearts and motivated us once again to minister with full commitment. Thanks to this camp meeting I was invited to preach later in the month at the Muscatine Church of God, which is located just 40 min. from Davenport. My family and I had a great time with the believers there and were able to share about all the miracles God has done in our lives. Our missionary Ivan Todorov was also very busy in his ministry in Thessaloniki, where he started gathering a group of people from Bulgarian and Russian background and to testify to them about the loving care of our Savior. On June 21 he was privileged to participate at the national ministers' gathering in Athens, where he was invited by the Greece national Overseer Tassos Aronis to minister to the local believers. God joined the hearts of the ministers to continue to try to reach the people of Greece for Christ.

As a Christian Ministry venturing in Missions we have become comfortable partnering and ministering with groups and families from so many countries… Well so many and yet never before we had the honor to serve the Lord with a family from Norway. So for the first time we were to host Norwegians and we had no idea what to expect and let me tell you right away that Tormod and Anita Olsen - an army of just two literally filled our van, our towns and villages, our world. Since we have never met them before – we were praying that God was sending us at least some normal people to work with but it was such a surprise to discover that they were far from normal – they were as crazy as we are and folks so in love with Jesus and his flock. WOW! A week started and ended like it was just 7 hours – we felt in love with the Olsens seeing how they jumped straight into the deep waters of the Bulgarian ministry context without hesitation and restrains – they began loving on people, ministering with their unique talents and uplifting the hurting people with a contagious spirit of enthusiasm and Jesus love. WOW!! Sofia, Geman, Petrich, Panaguyrishte, Levski, Teteven – day after day the people of Bulgaria from the various churches found their Spiritual Vitamins, encouragement, specific word of God through prophecy, healings, freedom and salvation through the self-sacrificial, giving and warm ministry of these folks. We can not wait for them to come back in June… I personally am in anticipation to see what Daddy has for us in the future – and I am sure it is special. Thank you God – for bringing those two WOW!!! People in our world. Dinko Zlatarov Mission trip to Sofia, Bulgaria 2014 In February we went to Sofia, Bulgaria with a great expectation, to begin a work with the Care For All Ministries. It has become to be a strong experience in many ways. When we met Dinko Zlatarov we felt welcomed and loved at ones. Care For All, is a good and well-planned ministry with a high focus on humanitarian and evangelistic work, This ministry operates a great deal of time among the Gypsies - the poorest of the poor in Bulgaria. It was amazing to see how Dinko and his team worked among them. Also - it was impressive to see the new established churches that are continually growing, the outreach like giving food and pray for the sick and making children`s street parties give fantastic results. The education work among the children, giving them skills in English and how to use computers will help them increase their carrier development and avoid the mistakes of their surroundings. We can read in Matthew, 25:40 “Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least of these My Brethren, you did it for me.” Care For All is living this, and what we saw was the love of the Father that came true this work. It was a great pleasure for us to see people saved and healed through this week’s work. The people we met, children and the grown-ups were dedicated and in love with Jesus. Through this work we can see the kingdom grow and we recommend Care For All to you to partner with in the Kingdom of God in Bulgaria.
