Members of the Central CoG Mission Group Speak About their Bulgarian Trip
Care For All International  2008-11-07

Rodney Fritz (the Leader of the group): Greetings to you from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and from the Central Church of God in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA!  It is a great blessing to see and hear the sights and sounds of Eastern Europe again upon my visit back to Bulgaria this year.  One year doesn’t seem like a lot of time when concerned with Kingdom Work; however, I’ve counted the weeks that have passed before I could return to the Stara Zagora region.  I long for the return of our Kinsman Redeemer when we’ll be able to speak and understand each other without the translation aid of our wonderful hosts, the Care for All ministries, but I praise God for the Holy Spirit who right now binds us together as brothers and sisters with the language of love.

Each time I return to your part of the world I’m reminded that the very first Christians were just a few hundred kilometers east of here beyond the Mediterranean Sea.  I think of the Apostle Paul’s mission trip through this country and of the miracle of how the Gospel spread throughout the whole world and of how much we have in common in the body of Christ.  God celebrated diversity in His creation and I believe He loves for us to be true to that diversity in the celebration of His Son, Jesus.  Jesus came for the whole world, for all time, to set us free from our sin and to create in us a new heart and a new life focused on praising His holy name.  We have witnessed the celebration of Christ in many ways we are unfamiliar with and yet it’s a celebration we join full of hope, joy and love.  We are wonderfully and curiously made by our creator to be different, yet the Holy Spirit and our love for Jesus unites us as like minded and one body. We can only show this love to each other because He loved us first.

King David, throughout the Psalms, referred constantly to believers as, “the peoples”, “the nations” and “the ends of the earth”.  I believe this is why David is a man after God’s own heart, because he was troubled from his spirit for the world’s lost souls.  This is why we come to Bulgaria and help the Care for All ministries.  To be an encouragement to “the peoples”, to reflect the love of Christ to them and show them they are not forgotten among “the nations” and we will come “from the ends of the earth” as often as we are able.

We are all called to worship God, and then He makes our hearts as one.  God spreads His good news to the lost and discouraged of this world to celebrate His love, grace and mercy in their own culture.  We’ve already witnessed the salvation of one young man this week.  Hallelujah!  I pray the seeds sewn here by Care for All ministries will bear much fruit for the Kingdom in God’s perfect timing.  Deut. 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands.”  Amen Slava na Boga

Mark Deal: The churches we have visited have mostly been on the outskirts of Stara Zagora.  Mostly Roma, some Turkish.  It’s difficult to really understand the feelings of inequality held against these people.  They are truly isolated and kept out of the mainstream of a relatively prosperous and growing country.  They share few smiles, sparse joy and little hope.  It’s no wonder that these people have given up the battle to improve themselves….they are given no helping hands to grab other than by Care For All and the influence the Lord has provided through pastors within their secluded communities.  A common thread seems to be poverty, at best and outright hardship, at worst.

But there is JOY in the church services.  Praise and worship is an oasis in the midst of a desert.  Hands raised and clapping, songs and shouts of joy in the Lord.  Hope where around them is little or none.  If nothing else, in addition to the food and a little fun shared with children and adults, I hope we provided some encouragement that will linger a while…a tangible hope in the Lord through prayers to lift up Jesus and a touch of  His Holy Spirit to heal minds, spirits and bodies.

I have been truly encouraged by the Church, of which Care for All is a part.  The Care for All must support more than a dozen separate Churches.  They seem to have been a significant part of actually purchasing land and refurbishing buildings for church planting missions.  I sense a huge blessing and relief to the oppressive surroundings where people assemble to worship in clean and cheerful surroundings with pretty flowers and brightly painted walls.

The best part for me has been seeing the number of other Pastors who have attended our services.  Most are Church of God, but others have heard about us coming and they wanted to take part in worship as well.  Could it be that as Pastor Dinko hopes and prays, the barriers and selfishness could be coming down and The Church will begin to have a real chance at making a difference through unity in the love of Christ?  I pray that the sense of openness and the pure touch and infilling of the Holy Spirit will grow and impact not only human souls, but families and whole cities, as well.  What an amazing thought…that revival will come and change hearts and minds!  Oh Lord, please change our hearts and the way we interact with people different from ourselves even if in our own cultural boundaries!

David Wells: It’s exciting to witness the significant difference and positive impact that Care for All ministries is making for the Kingdom of God.  Care for All is a beacon of light and a refuge of hope to the lost, the poor and the outcasts forgotten by others.  Hearts are being transformed, lives are being changed and people are turning to follow Jesus as a direct result of Care for All’s efforts to live and exemplify the Great Commission.  The gospel is being preached, the lost are being saved, the sick are being healed, discipleship is flourishing, pastors are being trained for field ministry, the poor are being fed, widows and orphans are being ministered to and so much more due to the daily efforts of Care for All to follow the will of the Lord.  Where fear, despair and darkness has overshadowed many villages for decades, Care for All has stepped in to bring hope for future by sharing the love of Jesus and the light of Almighty God.  Slava na Boga!

Desiree Hillard: There is a great and mighty work of the Holy Spirit taking place in Bulgaria. Pastor Dinko and Pastor Steffko and the entire staff at the Care for All ministries are called and anointed by the Father to be part of this work.  There is great hope and promise here.  It is a blessing to join hands and hearts in the vision and plans God has for this ministry.  It has been a great honor to be here.

Ambrosia Nalls: All I can say is the Lord is so good!  He blessed me by sending me on this trip to meet wonderful people, to pray and to worship with others in unfamiliar circumstances.  It doesn’t matter what country we are from and what language we speak, we still have one thing in common in the love of Jesus Christ.  There are no boundaries or barriers when it comes to Hallelujahs!  That’s the universal word that brings the world together in love.  I will miss Bulgaria and her people.  A piece of my heart will always be here.  I said to the Lord, “these are my hands and feet to use.”  He has heard my prayers.  Slava na Boga!

As a Christian Ministry venturing in Missions we have become comfortable partnering and ministering with groups and families from so many countries… Well so many and yet never before we had the honor to serve the Lord with a family from Norway. So for the first time we were to host Norwegians and we had no idea what to expect and let me tell you right away that Tormod and Anita Olsen - an army of just two literally filled our van, our towns and villages, our world. Since we have never met them before – we were praying that God was sending us at least some normal people to work with but it was such a surprise to discover that they were far from normal – they were as crazy as we are and folks so in love with Jesus and his flock. WOW! A week started and ended like it was just 7 hours – we felt in love with the Olsens seeing how they jumped straight into the deep waters of the Bulgarian ministry context without hesitation and restrains – they began loving on people, ministering with their unique talents and uplifting the hurting people with a contagious spirit of enthusiasm and Jesus love. WOW!! Sofia, Geman, Petrich, Panaguyrishte, Levski, Teteven – day after day the people of Bulgaria from the various churches found their Spiritual Vitamins, encouragement, specific word of God through prophecy, healings, freedom and salvation through the self-sacrificial, giving and warm ministry of these folks. We can not wait for them to come back in June… I personally am in anticipation to see what Daddy has for us in the future – and I am sure it is special. Thank you God – for bringing those two WOW!!! People in our world. Dinko Zlatarov Mission trip to Sofia, Bulgaria 2014 In February we went to Sofia, Bulgaria with a great expectation, to begin a work with the Care For All Ministries. It has become to be a strong experience in many ways. When we met Dinko Zlatarov we felt welcomed and loved at ones. Care For All, is a good and well-planned ministry with a high focus on humanitarian and evangelistic work, This ministry operates a great deal of time among the Gypsies - the poorest of the poor in Bulgaria. It was amazing to see how Dinko and his team worked among them. Also - it was impressive to see the new established churches that are continually growing, the outreach like giving food and pray for the sick and making children`s street parties give fantastic results. The education work among the children, giving them skills in English and how to use computers will help them increase their carrier development and avoid the mistakes of their surroundings. We can read in Matthew, 25:40 “Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least of these My Brethren, you did it for me.” Care For All is living this, and what we saw was the love of the Father that came true this work. It was a great pleasure for us to see people saved and healed through this week’s work. The people we met, children and the grown-ups were dedicated and in love with Jesus. Through this work we can see the kingdom grow and we recommend Care For All to you to partner with in the Kingdom of God in Bulgaria.
