As soon as the truck arrived from Germany – from our partnering organization Samariter Dienst, we started distributing the gifts in the towns and villages surrounding the city of Stara Zagora. This year we decided to visit personally all pastors and the poor families in the churches in our region and to present them with the goods that were in the Christmas packages, as well as the boxes with clothing.

For several days we would fill in our van and travel to various destinations in the Stara Zagora region. We did not waste too many days to distribute the humanitarian aid. We wanted to get them to the churches so that the local pastors may bless the believers for the holidays. In every town and village the local Christians and especially the kids welcomed us warmly, because they knew that they will not be left without presents for Christmas!!!

We divided the aid evenly and distributed it to every local congregation, and all pastors were very thankful. For this wonderful humanitarian aid we are very thankful to our partners – Samariter Dienst. They literally made the Christmas season a joyous celebration for numerous of families living in the minority parts of towns and villages. These German brothers and sisters collect, store and distribute humanitarian aid to be sent to impoverished regions every year and the fruits of their labor are obvious – they help people be more joyful and hopeful in this special time of the year!
