The new group of elderly people started at the center two weeks ago. They've already made themselves at home, having long conversations with each other and with us – the people who serve them. The time for our first meeting has also come. During it we wanted to tell them about the people beyond the ocean, who support the soup kitchen financially – who have opened their hearts for Bulgaria. We also took the opportunity to tell them about our Lord, Who in His mercy and generosity is taking care of us daily…
This time I had the honor to talk, and to present to them who my God is and how good He has been to me. I shared with them the strongest testimony in my life. I felt that all of them were touched and didn't want me to stop talking about God… I promised them that we'll have more meetings and then we'll talk more about Jesus Christ and everything He has done for us.
We even completed our meeting with a prayer – thanksgiving for the day, which filled us with hope for the good and valuable contacts – and for the blessed lunch, which was reminding us of itself by the nice smell of a home cooked meal…
